My Twig Logo Design Poll
Below are the Logo Design Mockups that I created for the developer of “MY TWIG”, a new facebook application coming out soon. I am calling 0n you to please help us choose the strongest logo design for this application. The logo needs to be attention grabbing, appealing and simple so that it will scale down or up nicely. Keep in mind that part of the logo may be used as accompanying icons or application elements. Please leave your feedback below in the comments area. Than You!
WHAT IS MY TWIG?
MyTwig (The place to list stuff you want and need)
Why MyTwig? friends and family always want to know what you want or need help with. MyTwig is the place for you to create a single list for friends and family with Facebook accounts to see. Once they can see your twig they can snag a leaf to either buy or do.
Everyone has a Twig, what’s on yours?
Final Logo and Icons:
The final logo was mostly determined by including the letter “T” in a way that could be used for icons as small as 16pxx16px. This was an important element because on facebook, this is the icon that many people will need to recognize and associate with the application.

I like design 1 the best, but if you don’t know the app is named “My Twig,” a person might not realize the leaf is crossing the T and think it is a L or I instead. Maybe throw a branch/leaf stem in there to help cross it? My second choice is design 3.
I like the second one the best. The 1st on looks like my ‘wig’ and the third on the i with 3 leaves seems like too much and the fourth one is okay, but I like the bubble-like letters better. As for the second, I think it would be cool if you made the letters textured like a tree if it’s possible. But I do like the second the best; simple, cute, and good eye appeal.
I like the 2nd design.
it’s simple, some of the other designs it’s hard to tell what they are in smaller versions.
For me it’s a toss-up between 2 and 3. I would like to see both these reworked with different fonts and slightly different colors. (I think both the brown and green could “pop” more.)
Also, I love the caterpillar! Make sure to save him for another time.
I really like #1 best, but I have the same concerns as Heather does…the “t” is not obvious that it is a letter “t”. I’m not certain I would have figured out the letter “t” if not for you listing it in your email and in other places (in text).
My second choice is #3, but I have some of the same concerns with the letter “i” being obvious to some people.
#2 is by third choice. #4 has the least appeal to me, as I think it looks too “cartoonish” (if that is even a word).
I really think that if you could make the “t” more obvious in logo #1 then you would have a clear cut best choice (IMHO).
Best of luck with this new venture.
I like the lettering and leaf style of #1 but the layout of #2.
I liked logo design #1 the best. The design is cool, but you may consider adding a leaf on the “t” facing opposite (down and to the left” of the current leaf located on the right-hand side of the “t”. I knew that the logo was for “Twigs”, but if your user does not know this initially, it may be hard for them to make out that the first letter is a “T”. Cool logo though.
I would select the second one. They are all great!
design #2
I like the third one. I think it communicates the twig idea and is simple, yet eye-catching. Simple is always better. They are all great, but #3 is my pick.
I guess I am different, I like #4.
Jim
I like #4 best…easy to read and the caterpillar is fun and memorable.
I like # 1 best followed by # 4. A twig/leaf combo may not be a bad idea for the ‘t’ on # 1 as suggested in prior comments, but I like that one either way.
I like #1!!
I agree with Greg’s comment… font of #1 with layout of #2
3 gets my vote. I like 1 also, but the “t” isn’t clearly a “t”.
#2
I like the font type and the two colors of #1 (but the not the t with the leaf) combined with the twig “i” and placement in #3. That caterpiller sure is cute but don’t know if it would do well when smaller… all of them are nice
I like #4 it is easy to read and the caterpiller draws me in. The caterpiller will also be a great branding tool for future logo’s. If the logos need updating the caterpiller will tie them in. As always you could never go wrong with any of them.
I like #1. It has an edgy appeal and is upbeat. #4 is too cute for this project, in my opinion.
Design #1. Clean. Clear. Perfect.
I agree with Jon… #1 looks fantastic.
I like the font on #2 better, but overall I like #1 the best
Round 2: I like #2
I like # 2, but to me still tough to know the word is twig. The t is tough to see as a t.
I like on round two item number 2.
Good luck!
Randy
I think #2 stands out better with the outlining of the letters. I like how you made the letter “T” more obvious this round. It appears to me that you fixed the concern I had in round 1 about this.
Great job!
round 2, I like #2.
Round 2 – I like #1 only because I like the font of the “g” better here. I am a huge fan of the dark outline in #2 though.
I like design #2. The font conveys a “twig” feel.
Twig #2 is my choice!
I like the new logo number 2 best.
#2 again
I like the final one that has the leaf over the “i”. It is eye-catching and easy to read.
