Madrigal and Welch Insurance has been providing peace of mind to individuals and businesses in Kansas or over 30 years. They are looking to update their current logo and have some specific requests in mind for the new design. It has been requested that the logo incorporate an “icon” of some kind that can be used to brand the business, perhaps incorporating the initials of the business. They would also like timeless colors and unique typography. A logo that can be used in multiple formats with the ability to embroider as well. Below is the logo design chosen out of the initial logo designs presented. Stay tuned for the color variations!

Research:
To begin this project I Google Image searched for “insurance logo designs” and “MW logo designs” to analyze the competition and what designs were already created with these initials.

The circle shape for the MW icon of the owner’s initials was also inspired by the shape of a gold ball. The owner’s like to sponsor golf tournaments yearly and I wanted to create a logo that would look good “stamped” on a golf ball, bag or hat.
