Cass--

Love seeing how the biz card process worked and how the whole thing evolved. If it's the Jaki I'm thinking of, I really like her "normal" style for her art work, but this is definitely something different -- and it's really interesting to see how you worked with her to get what you really wanted.

Only 2 things I'd note really quickly. On the front of the card, the word "sells" is hard to read because the "e" is so small that it's hard to distinguish. And the two l's of "sell" look almost like one letter because they're so close together. Maybe it's not exactly that way on the actual card itself but I think I'd make it a bit easier to read so that it doesn't look like maybe "sells" is her middle name and her last name is "Kansas." And, hey, it could be something like that -- she could a the KS real estate version of Indiana Jones.

The other thing would be her last name, because of the signature "writing" font. Is her last name "Gorp"? Because that's the best answer I can come up with. But if I can't find the card -- which happens quite a bit for me, 'cause really I'm not hanging on to real estate people's cards all that long -- and I decide I want later to call this person again ... it'd be handy to remember her last name ... if I could have read it on her card instead of just guessing at it.

Looks like it could be something really weird like Cporp, which for all I know could be Eastern European. Or maybe Crorp. Which I couldn't figure out how to pronounce, but that might not stop me from looking it up.

I'm guessing van Gorp. But since it's not printed anywhere on the card, only "signed" it's kinda hard to tell what her last name is.

Cass-- looks like a typo above. Shouldn't it be Kortney?

I think a variation of option A would look best. Option D, for me, has too much of a riverboat casino kind of feel to the logo -- and I have absolutely no idea of why that is. (Well, OK, it does look more wavy on top and the far left suggests a bit of a paddlewheel -- so maybe that's it.) The A option may be more of a cliche, but we all know that an eye (for some strange reason probably having to do with the way our brains evolved so that we could tell friend from foe) draws the viewer's eye to it. That said, I would also change the lettering so that the eye is more in the center of it, instead of above it -- which in a way would more resemble a face, just in the spacing. Not totally sure I'd go with that font, which looks kind of blocky and more like something that would bring to mind a building instead of a face. And I don't know what this eye center actually does, but if it's eye surgeries, then I probably would get rid of the little white specks in the eye itself -- because while we know they are supposed to be highlights, they could seem to correspond to mistakes in the surgery. Another thing I might suggest to the client -- keeping in mind that the oil giant Esso changed its name to Exxon because the designer suggested it when re-doing their logo -- is that Treasure Valley Eye Center might want to consider changing their name to Idaho Eye Center (if it's not already taken). There's a nice alliteration there, and it gives them much more freedom to expand (like Greene Vision Group in Wichita). Plus, it just makes the company sound bigger, and when someone is trusting something as vital as their eyes to someone, a lot of times bigger would seem to be better (because it sounds like more people already trust them, which engenders more trust).

I don't understand something. What are the 4 bottom pages? Are these additional options for their home page?

I love the header in #1 - very well designed. I can also see the benefits of the manufacturers scroll in #2 (provided they didn't move too fast and were click-able)

Of course the alternative to the scroll, would be in the drop down under "Our Products". You could have a separate menu under that by type of gun or by manufacturer.
